The Big Wedding (2)
Lin Qianshuang pulled Xuan Luowan’s hand and embraced her, kissing her forehead in public. She announced to everyone, “Bai Wan, the daughter of the Demon Emperor, is my Demon Empress. Please wait a moment while I change into wedding clothes with the Demon Empress. We will be back soon.”
Xuan Luowan nestled sweetly in Lin Qianshuang’s arms, her gaze fixed on the other woman’s fair and delicate chin. Gently, she reached out and stroked it, the skin as soft and delicate as a stream of water, flowing through her heart and stirring countless emotions within her.
At the highest point of the Jiuchong Demon Palace, the sky and earth were shrouded in a chaotic haze, enveloped by a faint, indistinct purple demonic aura. Only a few strands of sunlight pierced through the mist, casting a layer of golden light upon the thousands of jade steps.
Two figures, clad in red, ascended the stone steps hand in hand, bathed in the auspicious blessings bestowed by the source of magic.
Xuan Luowan, adorned with a phoenix crown and a red wedding dress, looked down at the panoramic view of the demon realm as she climbed. Thousands of monsters lay prostrate on the ground in submission, while the demon cultivators all knelt to greet her.
Her eyes, filled with affection, turned towards the other side, connected to Lin Qianshuang by the red thread in her hand. Lin Qianshuang, her face serious, was tying up her hair crown, her black hair neatly arranged behind her, giving her a unique and heroic appearance that Xuan Luowan had never seen before.
“Xiao Wan,” Lin Qianshuang said, “for the Demon Realm to recognize your identity as the Demon Empress, we need to form a marriage on the Heavenly Demon Pillar, sealed with the ancient demon soul. Would you allow me to give you a kiss? I apologize if it feels inappropriate.”
Lin Qianshuang considered that while Xuan Luowan often teased her, this kiss before the Heavenly Demon Pillar was meant to be a real one. She worried that Xuan Luowan might not accept it.
Suddenly, a playful laugh reached her ears.
Before Lin Qianshuang could even get close to Xuan Luowan’s face, the other woman reached out and pushed her against the pillar. Xuan Luowan pressed one hand against the pillar beside Lin Qianshuang’s face, and with the other hand, lifted her chin up, gazing into her deep blue eyes.
Lin Qianshuang was taken aback by Xuan Luowan’s sudden move. Even if she was slow, she understood Xuan Luowan’s intention – she probably didn’t want to be the one who suffered a loss, so she took the initiative.
“Xiao Wan, it doesn’t matter whether you kiss me first or I kiss you first. If you want to kiss me first, just tell me, it’s no… hmm.”
Before she could finish the word “matter,” Xuan Luowan had already silenced her with a kiss.
Lin Qianshuang had intended for Xuan Luowan to simply go through the motions with her, but the rough yet soft tongue that invaded her lips and teeth was clearly genuine. The almost brutal licking and entanglement disrupted her breathing, leaving her hands and feet with nowhere to go. She felt like she was being held underwater, battered by waves, powerless like a drowning person.
Xuan Luowan’s fingertips, burning hot, traced the blush on Lin Qianshuang’s fair cheeks. As she listened to Lin Qianshuang’s ragged breathing, she took advantage of her distraction to separate their lips. With the tip of her tongue, she licked the slender neck, gently biting a sensitive spot.
Lin Qianshuang thought to herself, This fox has kissed so many people, how can she be so skilled? She’s a real pro. Her lips were released, and she relaxed completely. Then, a sudden, tingling sensation in her neck made her shiver. Without warning, a soft moan escaped her throat.
“Oh, so embarrassing… what the hell? Why did I make that sound?”
Lin Qianshuang covered her face with her hands, wishing she could disappear into the earth. She refused to admit that she was being teased by a woman, that her entire body was tingling, and that she had made such a shameful sound.
“Shuangshuang, here’s a cup of wine. After we drink it, the Heavenly Demon Pillar will engrave us into its surface, and the forbidden land will be completely open to us.”
Xuan Luowan pretended not to notice Lin Qianshuang’s embarrassment. She held two cups of wine and handed one to Lin Qianshuang.
Lin Qianshuang slapped her flushed face, inwardly disgusted with herself. She took the cup of wine Xuan Luowan offered and drank it with her, their hands intertwined.
Xuan Luowan watched Lin Qianshuang drink the wine, her dark eyes gleaming with playful amusement. The corners of her mouth curved into a triumphant smile.
Lin Qianshuang tossed the empty cup to an attendant and, gazing at the new mark that appeared on the Heavenly Demon Pillar, turned to Xuan Luowan with a smile. “Xiaowan, now you are the Demon Empress of the Demon Realm. Once the ceremony is over, you can go to the forbidden area and retrieve the Cold Cicada Zither.”
Xuan Luowan pouted, her dissatisfaction evident. She wrapped her arms around Lin Qianshuang, her voice laced with playful coquetry. “You’re the Demon Emperor, and I’m your Demon Empress. If we don’t consummate our marriage tonight, everyone will laugh at us.”
Lin Qianshuang blinked, surprised. She had completely forgotten about the traditional wedding night. It would be strange if they didn’t stay in the bridal chamber.
“Well, we can have the wedding night,” she said, a hint of amusement in her voice. “But you have to leave a space for me on the bed. I don’t want to roll off.”
Xuan Luowan chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Shuangshuang, you know I’m not that kind of person. If the bed is too small, we can just change positions, right? There’ll be plenty of room then.”
Lin Qianshuang saw Xuan Luowan talking nonsense again and was about to tease her with a smile, but Xuan Luowan’s expression suddenly changed. Murderous intent flashed in her eyes, her demonic aura surged, and her hair, like a sea of seaweed, whipped around her as the demon mark appeared on her forehead, only to vanish in an instant.
Xuan Luowan’s sudden change in demeanor made Lin Qianshuang uneasy. Following her gaze, Lin Qianshuang saw a figure she hadn’t seen in a long time standing at the far end of the Heavenly Demon Pillar, staring at them with an inscrutable expression.
“Master, how did you… come out so quickly without telling your disciple?”
Lin Qianshuang slowly approached Han Shengyao, unsure of her intentions. Han Shengyao’s demeanor was too unsettling. There was no anger on her face, only a disconcerting calmness. Her dark purple eyes, deep and still, held no hint of emotion.
The more composed Han Shengyao appeared, the more a shiver of dread ran down Lin Qianshuang’s spine. It was as if an ice pick were pressed against her back, and she had a bad premonition, a feeling that something terrible was about to happen.
Han Shengyao’s figure flashed, and she reappeared in front of Lin Qianshuang, scooping her up in her arms before Lin Qianshuang could react.
Lin Qianshuang was startled and tried to break free, but found herself completely immobilized, held captive by the opponent’s demonic energy.
“Master, what are you trying to do? Put me down quickly.”
“What are you doing? You’re marrying Bai Wan, and you’ve even planned out the positions for the wedding night. If I hadn’t come, who will be the one riding you tonight?”**
“Master, please listen to me. You’ve misunderstood. Xiaowan and I…”
Lin Qianshuang’s words died in her throat, her fear sparked by the other’s gaze. Han Shengyao’s dark, beautiful eyes held a venomous glint, as if they could swallow her whole. A tremor of fear gripped Lin Qianshuang’s heart. The hand on her waist pressed with such force that her nails dug into her flesh, the sharp pain jolting her into complete awareness.
Xuan Luowan glared at Han Shengyao’s hand clutching Lin Qianshuang, her eyes burning with fury. She longed to sever it, and her voice was icy as she said, “Han Shengyao, a mere insignificant demon cultivator, you dare to abduct the Demon Emperor? Do you have a death wish?”
The demon guards, each wielding weapons, appeared and surrounded Han Shengyao in layers.
Su Qing, the Right Protector, brandished his magic weapon and warned Han Shengyao, “Holy Maiden, this is His Majesty the Demon Emperor. Do not be disrespectful, or you will face my wrath!”
“His Majesty the Demon Emperor?” Han Shengyao scoffed, her disdain evident. Holding Lin Qianshuang close, she unleashed her true cultivation, the power of a Tribulation Transcender forcing the demon guards to stumble back.
Before the stunned eyes of the assembled crowd, the Tourmaline, the sacred treasure of the Demon Realm, floated into the air, circling in the palm of Han Shengyao’s hand.
With a contemptuous gaze, Han Shengyao addressed the crowd, “I am the true Lord of the Demon Realm, and the Tourmaline is mine! Who dares to challenge my authority?”
The moment the demon guards saw the Tourmaline, they immediately knelt down. The demon cultivators, trembling with fear, lowered their heads, unable to meet its gaze.
The Tourmaline, the ultimate treasure of the demonic path, granted its possessor the legacy of countless powerful figures throughout history. The Lord of the Demon Realm, the true leader of the demonic cultivators, the ancestor of the demonic path, stood before them.
Han Shengyao, looking at everyone kneeling before her, forcefully turned Lin Qianshuang’s chin towards the crowd, declaring with cold, domineering authority, “I am the only one worthy of the Demon Emperor’s throne. My Demon Empress is my disciple, Lin Qianshuang. She is mine. Anyone who dares touch a single hair on her head will face my wrath!”
Xuan Luowan glared at Han Shengyao, her eyes blazing with a chilling fury that threatened to consume her.
The system chimed.
[Congratulations, Host, for completing the second task of supporting Han Shengyao to become the Demon Emperor!]
[Target Character (Han Shengyao) successfully conquered. Please proceed to the next target location.]
The favorability interface materialized before Lin Qianshuang’s eyes, a golden border framing Han Shengyao’s avatar. Below it, a message confirmed the mission’s completion and the successful conquest.
As the interface faded, Lin Qianshuang found herself being kissed by Han Shengyao. A new mark had appeared on the Heavenly Demon Pillar.
Han Shengyao’s words clearly revealed her genuine feelings for Lin Qianshuang. But her love was terrifyingly obsessive, her gaze possessive and frightening. Lin Qianshuang couldn’t bear to imagine the horrors that awaited her if she failed to escape the Demon Realm and fell into Han Shengyao’s clutches.
“Han Shengyao! Release her!”
Xuan Luowan’s voice was glacial, her fury palpable. No longer concealing her bestial identity, she unleashed her power, her long whip lashing out towards Han Shengyao.
Han Shengyao released Lin Qianshuang, effortlessly catching the whip in one hand. With a simple squeeze, the whip shattered into dust, scattered by the wind. Xuan Luowan was sent crashing to the ground, overwhelmed by Han Shengyao’s power.
“You, a mere foxling, dare to challenge me for her?”
Han Shengyao ground Xuan Luowan beneath her foot, watching as blood poured from her seven orifices. With a cruel smile, she ripped off Xuan Luowan’s two long fox tails, sneering, “It’s not like your tails won’t grow back, but I imagine it will be quite painful.”
She observed Xuan Luowan’s face, a mixture of agony and defiance, and pressed her foot down harder, relishing the slight contortion of her features.
“Shuang’er seems reluctant to let you die, so I’ll keep you alive for now. You’re so eager for our wedding night, aren’t you? Well, I’ll let you see for yourself how loving Shuang’er and I are.”
Xuan Luowan’s eyes were as dark as an abyss, her expression devoid of emotion as she stared at Han Shengyao. “You dare? Don’t make Shuangshuang hate you for the rest of her life!”
Han Shengyao chuckled, her voice cold and mocking. “Why wouldn’t I dare? You slipped something into the wine, a powerful aphrodisiac that few in the Demon Realm can resist. Tell me, when Shuang’er is consumed by desire for me, will she hate you more, or will she hate me?”
